Salinas, Calif. -- Police are searching for the suspect who they say robbed a Radio Shack store at knifepoint.
It happened on East Boronda Road, just after 7:30 Monday night. Police say the suspect entered the store, brandished a large knife at the employee and demanded money.
Police say the suspect then fled on foot towards Arcadia with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators describe the suspect as an Hispanic male, about 5'8" tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, and he had black fabric covering his face.
Salinas Police are urging anyone with information on the armed robbery to contact the department at 831-758-7090.
