Giants Win Their Second World Series Title

DETROIT, Mich. - The Giants won their second World Series title in three years. The team completed the four game sweep over the Detroit Tigers, 4-3 in ten innings. 

Marco Scutaro came up big with the game winning run in the tenth inning. Sergio Romo came in the tenth inning and struck out Triple Crown winner, Miguel Cabrera to end the game. 

This is the second World Series since moving to the West coast and the seventh in franchise history. 

Behind a three home run night in Game one, Pablo Sandoval was named the World Series Most Valuable Player.
