SALINAS, Calif. - Salinas Police are looking for a man who robbed the McDonald's on South Main Street shortly after 9:40 Wednesday night.
According to the shift manager, the suspect came into the restaurant and up to the counter - but then mumbled something, before jumping over the counter. The suspect was holding what appeared to be a screwdriver in his hand. He demanded the money and threatened to harm the manager if he did not comply. The manager complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The suspect ran out the door towards S. Main St. The robber was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5'7, 200 lbs, wearing a greenish gray hoodie, black pants, and some type of cloth over his face.
The robbery was captured on surveillance video. The investigation continues.
