MEMPHIS, Tenn. - FedEx says a surge in online shopping will give them a boost through the upcoming holiday season.

The package delivery company expects to ship 280-million packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

That would equate to a 12% jump from just a year ago.

FedEx credits online sales for boosting business, and predicts December 10th will be its busiest day of the year.
