Car Plows Through Salinas Restaurant

SALINAS, Calif. -- A portion of Chevy's on the 1400 block of Davis Road in Salinas is boarded up after a car drove about two feet inside of the restaurant.

Police say it happened over the weekend. The driver felt dizzy and lost control of his car and drove into the restaurant.

Police say the investigation revealed Miguel Silva was impaired and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to the Monterey County jail.
