SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Construction is on schedule for the Santa Cruz Warriors Arena which is set to have its first home opener in December.

Crews worked through the weekend knowing there could be rain in the forecast this week. Workers are hoping to pour the concrete slab this week when the weather clears up.

The steel framework is expected to go up at the beginning of next week.
