Earthquake Shakes Central Coast Aftershocks Felt

Did you feel it?   The U.S. Geological Survey reports  that a 5.3 magnitude earthquake happened 16 miles east northeast of King City just before midnight, Saturday.

Central Coast News Facebook friends report that the shaking was felt through Soledad, Salinas, over to Seaside, and up through Watsonville.

And all day long, the Central Coast has felt aftershocks from near the epicenter north to Greenfield.

As of 5:15 p.m. local time, there have been at least 2 more in the Greenfield area, both in the 1.0 to 1.2 range.
