SALINAS, Calif- Salinas Police are looking for two men they say beat up a man in front of his son at Natividad Medical Center, Friday morning.

Police say the 40 year old man cashed a check at a local bank on South Main Street, walked to his car to count the cash, and then drove to Natividad Medical Center with his 15 year old son inside.

When he parked in the hospital's parking lot, two gang members approached the vehicle and started to beat the man while he was still incide the car.

The suspects then got away with very little cash, estimated under $100.

Police suspect that the gang members saw the man either walking out of the bank with the cash or counting the cash inside his vehicle and more than likely followed him to the hospital where they attacked him.

The gang members remain on the loose.
