5k & 10k Run Will Benefit People With Disabilities Saturday Morning

MONTEREY, Calif. - Wake the neighbors and bring the kids! The second annual Easter Seals Central California Walk & Run With Me is being held Saturday, October 20th at Coast Guard Pier in Monterey.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.  The timed 5k & 10K training runs start at 8:30 a.m. and Walk With Me begins at 8:45 a.m.  On-site parking lots and on-street parking spaces are readily available. 

Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and other special needs. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation to job training, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve their personal goals.

Central Coast News' Marc Cota-Robles and Jasmine Viel will be emceeing the event.
