SALINAS, Calif. - A man was arrested early Thursday morning, on charges he assaulted officers at the Colonial Mannor, an assisted living home for seniors. According to police, 62-year-old Robin Tully was agitated and attempted to assault staff members at the board and care facility, located on Williams Road.
Tully's combative behavior continued towards officers when they arrived and contacted him.
Tully also assaulted the officers who were attempting to place him in custody. Tully was secured and placed in a patrol vehicle where he continued his aggressive behavior and made threats towards officers. Officers say he then tried to kick out the back windows of the patrol unit.
Once at the county jail, Tully is accused of attempting to fight jail staff.
He was booked on charges of assaulting an officer, making threats towards officers and resisting arrest.
