Newborn Saved by Homeless Man

Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - A young woman was on her way to the hospital in labor, when the unthinkable happened - she had to give birth in her car. Her fiance pulled the car over to a gas station, and the baby girl was born in the passenger seat.

But when the girl was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. The first-time parents panicked. A nearby homeless man, Gary Wilson, rushed over to take control of the situtation.

Wilson was able to free the baby's neck and follow directions from a paramedic via a 911 call.
