Traffic Back Up on Highway 101 at North Main Street in Salinas

SALINAS, Calif- Traffic was backed up on Northbound Highway 101 at the Main Street Exit. The accident happened just before 1 p.m. and involved a Central Coast News van and a red Jeep.

Our photographer driving the van is okay. The person driving the Jeep was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, said officers at the scene.

According to CHP the Central Coast News van was driving in the left hand lane when it was clipped by the Jeep.
