GREENFIELD, Calif. - After almost 19 months on the job, Greenfield Interim City Manager Brent Slama is moving on to Soledad. This, after the City of Greenfield has moved ahead with the appointment of a new City Manager, Susan Stanton.
Stanton arrives from Florida and has "over 15 years of City Manager experience and her professional experience will be a great asset to the City of Greenfield," says Slama.
Stanton's first day on the job will be Tuesday, October 30th.
Slama has accepted a position with the City of Soledad to be the Community & Economic Development Director, effective November 12th. His last day in Greenfield will be Friday, November 9th.
"I am grateful for all of the acquaintances and friendships I have made here in Greenfield over the last six years and I look forward to continuing to work (with them) in my new capacity," Slama said in a statement.
