SALINAS - A man leaving a local market is shot at and it looks like the motive is robbery.
It happened Monday morning at Gin's market on North Sanborn Road in Salinas.
The store's 61-year-old owner said he was headed to the bank with money when someone approached his truck, tried to open the door, and when the crook couldn't get in, the suspect shot at the vehicle as the owner was trying to drive away.
The man wasn't hit by a bullet, but had minor cuts from the glass.
Police said the suspect got away in a compact grey car headed eastbound on Garner Avenue.
