NEW YORK CITY, New York - The American Beverage Association and others sued the city of New York on Friday, after the city called for the removal of large, sugary soft drinks in restaurants.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg proposed the new rule, saying that it's a good way to curb obesity.
The city's Board of Health approved the measure last month. The rule is set to go into effect in March.
