MONTEREY, Calif- Congressman Sam Farr was in Monterey Friday to dedicate a new facility.

Congressman Farr joined with Naval Research Laboratory officials for a dedication and ribbon cutting.

The ceremony was for the new 15 thousand square foot Marine Meteorology Center research facility.

The center will provide over 60 scientists the tools to research a wide variety of areas, from the atmosphere to down below the sea, all for the knowledge of the United States Navy and Marines.
