LOS ANGELES, Calif.- Remember when we saw the Space Shuttle Endeavour fly over Monterey back in September? Thousands of people got the chance to see the space shuttle again on Friday.
And it wasn't zipping across the sky this time. The shuttle was crawling through the streets of Los Angeles.
Space Shuttle Endeavour was hauled on a special carrier from LAX to the city streets.
The Endeavour is known for traveling at speeds more than 17,000 MPH. Now, it moves at 2 miles per hour.
The space shuttle should finish its two day trip at its last stop: the California Science Center.
Crews took down trees and traffic signals, as well as utility lines, so the shuttle's five-story tail could move through.
Neighbors and shop-keepers are going to have to deal with traffic jams before Endeavour reaches its final destination.
