MORGAN HILL, Calif. - Police responded to an attempted homicide on the 500 block of Peebles Avnue in the unincorporated area of Morgan Hill.
It happened just after 3 Thursday morning, when Santa Clara got a call about a 45-year-old man shot in the arm and another was hit in the head with a hammer.
They're expected to be okay.
Police say the suspect, 33-year-old Mario Calderon, is on the run tonight.
Police say he's 5'6", 180 pounds, with a shaved head.
Police say he's likely armed and dangerous, and that witnesses told them he's likely on his way to Mexico.
He was last seen in a white 1994 Acura Integra with California license plate number 6VDL974
