Reports are coming in via Twitter from many different European countries, including Sweden, Denmark, and Ireland, saying that Facebook is down.

The online hacker group known as Anonymous has taken responsibility for the outage. @AnoynmousOwn3r tweeted "I am attacking Facebook right now."

This is the same account that said they were responsible for taking down the website GoDaddy.com.

Facebook has not released a statement.
