Royal Oaks Homeowner Confronts 2 Suspected Burglars

ROYAL OAKS - A Royal Oaks man comes face to face with two suspects trying to break into his home while their buddies waited in a getaway car.

Monterey County Sheriff's deputies are still on the hunt for one of those suspects, Jimmy Moreno.

Oswaldo Toscano, Marcial Castillo and a 17-year-old were arrested.

Deputies said it happened on Tuesday on Maher Road.

They said two suspects tried getting inside the a man's home through a bathroom window when the homeowner confronted them.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects waited inside a green Chevy Trailblazer in the driveway.

Deputies caught up with the four suspects on San Juan Road, but when they pulled the car over Moreno managed to get away on foot.
