WATSONVILLE, Calif. -- Watsonville Police are investigating a report of a stabbing early Tuesday morning that left a victim recovering from a laceration to his head.
It happened on 60 Tharpe Avenue. Officers say, when they arrived on the scene, they contacted the victim who was intoxicated and un-cooperative with details of the assault.
Investigators say the victim had a large laceration to the head, and was transported from the scene to the hospital.
Statements from family members and evidence at the scene indicate some type of altercation has occurred in the garage of the residence. Police say it appeared the victim has been struck with a blunt object, causing the injury to his head.
