SALINAS, Calif. - The Salinas Police Department is just releasing information regarding an armed robbery that occured Friday afternoon. Officers responded to the robbery to a liquor store located on the 600
block of E. Laurel Drive.
The 54-year-old victim was working behind the counter when a
masked gunman entered the business, brandished a handgun as he jumped over the
counter and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
Police say the suspect then ran off southbound on Natividad Road. The
suspect was armed
with a chrome colored revolver.
Detectives are continuing to investigate case and ask that anyone who may
have witnessed this incident contact the Salinas Police Department. Information
