SACRAMENTO--The two tax measures on the November ballot are getting plenty of attention as we enter the home stretch for the upcoming election. Both campaigns for Propositions 30 and 38 are out with new television ads.
Plus, the California Budget Project is out with a new report comparing the two measures, both of which call for tax hikes to help fund the state's education system. Many people are referring to the two as competing measures, but voters could end up passing neither, or both.
The latest poll, however, shows 52 percent of likely voters approving Proposition 30 with just 34 percent for Proposition 38.
