SALINAS, Calif. - A shooting in Salinas sent one victim to the hospital Friday night, just before 6:00.

Police say a 25-year-old victim was shot twice on the 1300 block of Palmera Avenue.

He was airlifted to an area hospital, with what we're being told are non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting is being investigated as being gang related.
