SANTA CRUZ, Calif.- The first home game for the new Santa Cruz warriors d-league team is just 80 days away, and organizers are working on finalizing how many jobs are required to fully operate the local stadium.

Officials with the Santa Cruz Warriors say they are still hammering out the details, but plan on holding a job fair within the next two months in Capitola.

They could potentially hire at least one hundred positions.

Foundation work is still being completed for the Kaiser Permanente arena on the Santa Cruz beachfront.

The $5.4 million dollar plan is being built downtown with nearly 3,000 seats. Their first home game is scheduled for December 23rd.
