SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Once again, protesters were stopped as they spoke out against PG&E's "smart meters." These "smart meters" have been installed across the area.

The protest Thursday was held at the Clock Tower at Water and Pacific Street.

Protestors are not letting up, saying the new devices have been linked to health problems, fires, and privacy violations.
