Carry on fees at Spirit Airlines are flying higher.

Starting November 6th, passengers paying for the carry on fee at the boarding gate will now be charged a hundred dollars.

Customers can avoid the higher price by paying a smaller fee before heading to the airport.

Spirit is known for its low fares, but makes up the difference with fees, which accounts for 40% of its revenue.
