SALINAS, Calif. -- The Monterey County Office of Education will release the 2012 Monterey County Education Report to the Community on Wednesday.
"We are pleased to present the first annual Education Report to the Community. The intent of the annual report is to help the community better understand the progress of public education in Monterey County, and how the community can work together to support the education of all students," said Monterey County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nancy Kotowski.
"Our students count on us to open wide the doors of opportunity and help them soar to boundless heights in their lives as they discover their talents and abilities, and they learn and grow," Kotowski further stated.
The report will be available online at www.montereycoe.org
The annual report will also be available in Spanish on the MCOE website by October 12. Print versions will be made available to community members, as well.
