MONTEREY, Calif. - One Tequila, two tequila, three tequila... More! The Monterey Tequila & Mezcal Expo returns to the Monterey Peninsula this weekend for its fourth year. The event pays tribute to the rich and colorful history of Tequila and Mezcal and is a celebration of the spirits' present and future significance.
With more than 60 expressions of high premium Tequila and Mezcal for attendees to sample, this event brings together industry leaders from California and beyond, local professionals and aficionados.
Benefiting a worthy cause, the MTME holds its annual agave-inspired silent auction run by the North Monterey County LULAC chapter. All proceeds will go to deserving high school and college students to assist them in their pursuit of a college degree.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 6th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa inside the Monterey Ballroom from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A dance and mixer to follow from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight inside the Hyatt's Monterey Ballroom.
Event tickets are still available - General Admission tickets purchased in advance cost $65. General Admission tickets sold at the door cost $70. Designated Driver tickets will be available only at the door and cost $35. VIP tickets have sold out.
