400 Gallons of Fuel and Fuel Pump Stolen from Truck in Salinas - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif- One truck owner is Salinas must be very upset after finding 400 gallons of fuel had been stolen, as well as the vehicle's fuel pump in Salinas.

Monterey County Sheriff's Deputies began investigating the theft Monday afternoon, after a resident on Espinosa Street in Salinas reported all their fuel was gone.

Closer inspections found that the fuel pump had also been 'snipped' right off.

Deputies say no witnesses have come foward in the case and that if you have any information regading what could have happened, you are asked to contact the Monterey County Sheriff's Investigations team.
