Rally in Sacramento Against Vaccination Bill

SACRAMENTO-- A group of parents, legislators and others, including actor Rob Schneider, rallied today in Sacramento.  They are calling on the Governor to veto a bill which would require parents to get a signed waiver from a doctor or health care practitioner to avoid required immunizations.

Some parents opt out for medical, religious or philosophical reasons. Bill opponents say it is an assault on freedom and a veiled attempt to get all kids vaccinated.

Supporters of the bill say they would like to see all kids receive vaccinations.

Governor Brown has until Sunday to sign or veto the bill, along with the remaining bills still on his desk.
