BIG SUR, Calif. - A project, putting a permanent viaduct just south of Carmel, near the "rocky creek bridge" along Highway one.

The project should be done by the end of next September.

A new survey from the Big Sur community paved the way for the updated schedule, which will close Highway one at Rocky Creek from 9pm to 7am.

That starts Thursday, October 11th, and goes through February.

CalTrans is warning travellers that traffic will be stopped for ten minutes at a time.

They want motorists to know, though, there'll be plenty of warning for additional closures and detours.
