Salinas WalMart Robbed By Man Dressed as Armored Car Driver - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif- Salinas Police responded to an armed robbery at the Wal Mart off N. Main in Salinas Thursday morning. Police say a man came into the store and confronted an employee at gunpoint.

The suspect was described as a white male adult wearing sunglasses, a blue shirt and dark hat. Police say the clothing resembled a security officer uniform.

Witnesses told Salinas police that a man got into a dark colored vehicle and drove off.

At this time police are still gathering details on this case. One witness told Central Coast News that the manager was tied up, but police have yet to confirm that story.
