SEASIDE, Calif. -- Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night in a Seaside neighborhood.
Seaside Police say they responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Mingo Avenue and Highland Street. One caller reported a light colored car chasing a black SUV on Highland Street.
Officers say they located the black SUV in the 1100 block of San Pablo Avenue. Police say it had been hit by gunfire, but no one inside was injured.
The victims say they were shot at by the suspect vehicle in the 1300 block of San Pablo. Officer say they located evidence of a shooting in that area.
Police say an unrelated parked vehicle, a fence and a house were hit by gunfire. It is unknown at this time if the shooting is gang related. The investigation is ongoing.
