WATSONVILLE, Calif. - A man is behind bars after using large rocks to smash several business windows on Main Street Saturday in Watsonville.
Officers were sent to the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, where the front glass door had been smashed. A witness provided a description of the suspect, and police caught up with Isaias Fernandez about 10 minutes later.
Police also discovered that the front glass windows of China Buffet and Creative Nails, also on Main Street, had been broken with large rocks.
The total damage fro all three businesses was around $1,500.
Fernandez was arrested for felony vandalism and booked into the county jail.
