Bust Stops Pot Grow, Suspect not Arrested

WATSONVILLE, Calif. - The Santa Cruz County Anti Crime Team - along with two other agencies - responded to reports of a pot grow in full bloom today.

It all happened on the 700 block of Robles St. in Watsonville.

Once there - authorities found commercial grow lamps, automatic irrigations systems, ventilation systems and air conditioning units. 

Police took 55 live plants and approximately 74 pounds of high grade buds -- along with some cocaine and $10,000 cash. 

Surprisingly-- the man wasn't arrested -- and the DA's office is investigating further.
