WATSONVILLE, Calif- Yes, Alanis Morissette it is ironic that two inmates escaped while attending a recidivism reduction class and stole a car Tuesday morning.

Deputies are on the lookout for 22-year-old Blaine Collamore and 29-year-old Bryan Martin. According to deputies, the pair was at the medium security detention facility on Rountree Lane participating in a recidivism reduction class.

Around 9:15 a.m. staff noticed that Collamore and Martin were missing. A few moments later deputies got a call about a house on San Andreas Road that had been burglarized. Deputies believe that Collamore and Martin broke into the house and stole a 1995 Blue Honda Civic with the license plate number 2BWE696. The stolen car has a bumper sticker that says "Live Aloha".

Both inmates were being housed at the detention facility while they were waiting for sentences on drug and theft charges. They were almost complete with the recidivism reduction program when they broke out and committed more crimes, said deputies.

The Sheriff's Office is asking anybody who knows the whereabouts of COLLAMORE or MARTIN to call 911, 831-471-1121 or 831-454-2311.
