PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- A shooting late Saturday night startled neighbors in the Arkwright neighborhood in Pacific Grove.
Several shots were fired in the area of 8 Arkwight Court. Police say it happened around 10:50 p.m. Pacific Grove, Monterey, and Carmel Police, along with the Monterey County Sheriffs Department were all on scene last night.
Police say the suspect showed up and opened fire on two victims in the parking lot area. No one was injured. The suspect fled the scene in a white SUV. He is described as Asian or Hispanic in his early 20s.
Police say although several shots were fired no one was hit. "Officers conducted an investigation and they were unable to locate anyone injured," said Chief Vicki Myers.
Police are still investigating the incident. The suspect is till on the lose.
Police do not believe this shooting is gang related.
