Skateboarder Groping Women in Watsonville

Posted: Updated:

WATSONVILLE, Calif.-- A skateboarder in Watsonville is a suspect in three sex crimes within the last two weeks.

The first attack happened on August 27th. Since then three women have come forward saying a man groped them while they were walking. The suspect is described as a male between 15 to 18 years old with light skin.

Police say he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt during all three attacks and rode off on a skateboard. Police are especially concerned because the incidents all happened near local schools. "It's a little bit concerning because its happening around the area of Edward A. Hall Middle School. So we encourage those walking in that area to make sure to be aware of the environment," said Corporal Ed Delfin.

Police say so far no students have reported any attacks. All three women who were groped were walking alone when it happened. If you have any information or see suspicious activity call police.
