Coast Guard Looking For Stolen Yacht and Kidnapped Kids, May Be Heading Through Monterey Bay

SAN FRANCISCO — Police and Coast Guard Crews are looking for a man suspected of stealing a yacht and kidnapping his two children.

According to the CBS SF, 3-year-old Brooklynn Maffei and 2-year-old Devin Maffei were abducted in the 100 block of James Court in South San Francisco on Tuesday around 3 p.m.

Police said that the two kids were abducted by their father, Christopher Maffei, 43.

The yacht is named "Unleashed" and has "San Francisco, CA" painted on the stern. The yacht was last seen Friday morning near Half Moon Bay. CBS SF reported that Maffei has said that he would like to sail to Monterey or Mexico, according to police.
