LOS ANGELES, Calif- A man who escaped from San Bernardino County Jail with the help of his wife is considered armed and dangerous, said the California Highway Patrol Nixel Alert. Darnell Washington and his wife, Tania, shot an L.A. County Sheriff's deputy in South El Monte Sunday morning and have committed multiple carjackings, said the alert.
The last vehicle they were seen in was carjacked in South Gate Sunday morning and is a light blue 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager Mini-Van, with a CA License plate number of 3PHK484.
The 39-year-old deputy was treated at a local hospital and released later on the same day.
Both suspects remain at large and are considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. If you see the suspects or vehicle call 9-1-1.
