MARINA, Calif. -- Organizers say at least 2,000 people showed up for the 37th annual Labor Day Parade in Marina.
The parade started along Crescent Avenue and ended near the Wells Fargo off Reservation Road. Almost 60 entries went by anxious parade-watchers. They had everything from classic cars, veteran groups, dancers, youth sport teams and even several dressed up animals.
"Oh this parade is great we always have fun we have a lovely village here in Marina," said Grandpa Sparky.
We talked with some local students who told us what their favorite part of the show was. "All the people were in it and all the signs and everything!" said Melissa Angeles.
The Marina Labor Day Parade is the largest parade in Monterey County.
