Molotov Cocktails Used in Watsonville - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

Very early Thursday morning, around 1:30 AM, residents of the 100 block of Brennan Street in Watsonville awoke to a loud bang outside their homes. 

A Molotov cocktail was burning in their driveway. The residents extinguished the flames, but did not call police. 

Police were later informed by the person responsible for the property where the incident occurred. While police were investigating, a neighbor brought over another Molotov cocktail that had been found earlier in the day on their property. They also had not called police. 

The incident is still under investigation, but Watsonville Police are encouraging anyone with any information to call the Watsonville Police Department Investigations Division at 768-3350 or the Watsonville Police Department tipline at 768-3544.
