FELTON, Calif.- Hwy 9 is shut down in both directions for a major injury accident.

The head on accident happened on Hwy 9 near Hwy 236 just before 9a.m. and involves two vehicles.

A medical helicopter is landing at a designated landing spot near the scene to fly the most critical patients to a Bay Area trauma center.

At least one person was flown out.
