Watsonville, Calif. -- Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a business in Watsonville at gunpoint Tuesday.
It happened at Lomeli Communications on Lake Avenue, just before 5pm.
Officers say the suspect went into the business, brandished a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied with the suspect in fear of being harmed. Then, according to police, the suspect fled the business, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators say no one was harmed in the robbery.
Witnesses describe the suspect as an Hispanic male, approximately 17-18 years old, wearing a baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Officers say they conducted an extensive search for the suspect, but he was not located.
