Three people are behind bars in Santa Cruz after police say they were involved in the theft of vehicles.
Around 3:30 P.M. on Friday, a member of Santa Cruz's Department of Street Crimes Unit contacted Robert Clamon, who they saw dismantling a vehicle on the 200 block of Button Street.
The vehicle turned out to be stolen in Santa Cruz County.
Items belonging to Domenika Galpren were found in the vehicle. Ms. Galpren had just been released from jail on Thursday, after stealing a different vehicle.
Shelby Pinther was with Ms. Galpren at the time of her arrest. Ms. Pinther had a warrant out, and was in possession of heroin.
All three were placed under arrest.
