CARMEL, Calif - There is only so much parents can do once they send their students off to high school, and in a recent study, they may need to do more.
Heath Rocha is the Director of special education, student services and child development for the Carmel Unified School District. "I thought it was a little high so I wanted to see what our students report," Rocha explained.
The study done by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse shows that 17% of high school students drink, smoke or use drugs on school grounds during school hours.
