SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif- A Thursday morning car fire may lead police to evidence in the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy.

A car matching the description of the car used in Wednesday night drive-by shooting was found burning on Larkin Valley Road and Mar Monte Avenue.

At this time police are investigating to see if it is the vehicle that was used in the death of 13-year-old Joey Mendoza.
