Two Stabbed in Soledad

SOLEDAD, Calif - South County law enforcement agencies are investigating a stabbing that sent two people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 2:47 PM, officers from the Soledad Police Department were dispatched to a report of an assault and battery in the 100 block of Dixie Street. At the scene officers  a Hispanic woman with a stab wound to her upper body. She was air lifted to a Bay Area trauma center where she was treated for her injuries and later released.

A second victim was also stabbed, but driven to a local hospital by a friend. He was admitted for observation and as of this time is listed in stable condition. 

The suspect remains outstanding and there is no known motive at this time.
