MARINA, Calif - Marina Police had to call out the Monteryey County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad after finding a homemade bomb while serving a search warrant Thursday.
According to Marina Police, around 4:00 p.m. Thursday officers served a search warrant at the home of Anthony Camba, 47, on the 3100 block of Messenger Drive. Inside officers seized more than 16,000.00, U.S. currency.
Officers also found a homemade explosive device at a home in the 3300 block of Del Monte Boulevard and destroyed it. The Monterey County Sheriff's Bomb Squad said the bomb was a crude device designed from an empty pill bottle containing what was believed to be gun powder.
